In 2012, Stacey Dash spoke out, during the presidential election. She threw her support behind Mitt Romney, after supporting Barack Obama, in 2008. Her reasoning for doing so was claiming she only supported Obama, because he was black.
Stacey Dash would devolve from simply supporting Romney to spouting right-wing views. Dash went as far as saying she believed networks such as BET shouldn’t exist. This prompted the network to hilariously ask if she was returning her checks, from “The Game.”
Recently, Stacey Dash spoke with DailyMail TV, where she actually renounced Donald Trump, after being one of his most-vocal supporters. Now, she is severing ties with the controversial ex-president, and her media role. Also cutting ties with the network, Dash said she believes she was being typecast as an “angry black woman.”
