Ahead of the “Star” series premiere, Lee Daniels has been on a strong media push. During his interview on “The Real,” Lee Daniels said he made the title character of “Star” white to bring the country back together. The show premieres tomorrow at 9 pm.
Because of the “Star” series premiere, “Empire” is pushed up an hour, airing at 8 pm. Veteran industry insiders, Queen Latifah and Lenny Kravitz, are on “Star,” but Jude Demorest leads the show. Other stars include Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, and Benjamin Bratt.
Also included on the show is Tyrese, Darius McCrary, and Naomi Campbell, and Chad Buchanan. Aside from Lenny Kravitz’ guest appearance, also expect VH1 star, Joseline Hernandez, to appear, along with “Empire’s” franchise player, Terrence Howard. “Star” has a special series premiere tomorrow at 9 pm.
