Statik Selektah talks Chris Brown/Drake and “Yeezus” with “Sway in the Morning” [VIDEO]

This past month is one that should go down in recent hip hop history. Among the sea of albums that were released this month was Statik Selektah’s Extended Play. The album faced off against Mac Miller with Watching Movies with the Sound Off, Kanye West with Yeezus, and J. Cole with Born Sinner.

Statik Selektah had stiff competition and even featured Mac Miller on his recent album, which captured headlines. Outside of the music, hip hop is going strong in very many ways. One of the biggest stories in hip hop is ongoing, as Chris Brown and Drake continue to beef, with the latter admitting to wanting peace.

All of this was the basis for Sway Calloway’s interview with Statik Selektah when he stopped by Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning.” Statik Selektah talked about the feud between Chris Brown and Drake and Yeezus. He also spoke on DJ-ing and gave information about Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.
