Steph Curry shoots 3-pointers for 5 minutes straight without missing

Stephen Curry got the monkey off his back, last summer, winning Finals MVP. Despite Curry being the face of the Golden State Warriors’ franchise, he never won Finals MVP until 2022. However, that 2022 season saw Steph on a mission. Because the Warriors came so far to get back on top, most felt they’d return to the Finals in 2023. That didn’t happen. As a result, the Warriors have retooled, and they’re working to improve, internally. Curry was in practice, last night, working on his three-pointers.

Stephen Curry is the longest-running player on the Warriors’ roster. He was drafted by Golden State in 2009 and has remained in the Bay Area for fourteen years. Early in his career, Curry had to deal with the Warriors constantly missing the playoffs. However, they built team chemistry during the lockout 2012 season. That carried over into the 2013 season, which saw Golden State make the playoffs. In 2014, they got back over 50 wins. After that, they never looked back.

Stephen Curry was highly disappointed after the Warriors’ second round loss to the Lakers. As a result, he is more focused than ever. That, within itself, is scary, since Curry is coming off a career year with his scoring average. In addition, the Warriors have added Chris Paul to their roster. Draymond Green also is saying he doesn’t see why Golden State can’t win two more titles. All of that starts in the gym and Curry went five minutes straight, making threes without missing a single one.
