Returning to the NBA Finals has been no cake walk for Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Oklahoma City Thunder made sure of that, as they didn’t beat the Spurs for nothing. A week ago, it looked like the Durant/Westbrook duo would be the NBA’s biggest-ever spoiler.

All season long, the San Antonio Spurs were on the brink of winning 70 games, coming up short at 67. Still, 67 wins is an all-time great record, but the Thunder shut them down in the second round. Then, they exposed the Warriors and had critics questioning them.

Steph Curry sat down for his postgame interview following that huge win in game seven. Giving credit to Klay Thompson and his other teammates, Curry revealed he hasn’t thought much about the Finals. Just like last year, they face LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers, except they should be more balanced this time around.
