All season long, the Golden State Warriors have owned the NBA behind their golden boy, Steph Curry. He’s come a long way since the Drake shout out. Since that moment, Curry’s led his team to two consecutive league best records, including 73-9 this season.
Steph Curry has helped usher a new era in NBA basketball, leading the league in scoring and cruising to his second consecutive MVP. In fact, he made history as the first unanimous MVP. There are some who have waited for hard times to fall upon Curry and his Warriors.
For the first time since the 2015 NBA Finals, the Warriors lost consecutive games. This puts them in a 3-1 deficit behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, thus facing elimination. All season long, fans feared of a Steph Curry playoff injury and it happened in their first game and, it turns out, he is playing through injuries and insiders say he’s 70% at best, despite his claims that his team “ain’t going out like that.”
