Last night, the Golden State Warriors cruised to a win over a team everyone knew they could beat. But, they still had to go in there and play the Utah Jazz. During the regular season, the Jazz managed to get one win over the Warriors.
Heading into this season, there were questions of how the Warriors would blend in with the new pieces. In order to make Kevin Durant a reality, Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut were shipped off. With that, there was David West added to the unit.
After an 0-1 start, the Warriors managed to go 67-14 the rest of the way, as there was room for Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant, after all. Following the Warriors’ Game 1 win over the Jazz, Curry and Durant spoke to the press about how to maintain their focus and win these games.
