Stephen Curry gets snubbed by former coach, Mark Jackson

Stephen CurryAnyone who watched Stephen Curry in college knew his potential. After setting all kinds of records in 2008, many were surprised he didn’t enter the NBA draft that year. Instead, Stephen Curry waited a year and was then drafted by the Golden State Warriors.

It took three years for the Warriors to return to the playoffs. But, in 2013, they broke through and stunned the Denver Nuggets in the first round. In the time since then, Stephen Curry has teamed with Klay Thompson to create the most-powerful backcourt duo in the NBA.

The potential Stephen Curry and the Warriors have is being seen this year, as he and Klay Thompson have lived up to their potential. Golden State has won a franchise record 61 games and counting, but it comes under new coach, Steve Kerr. Longtime coach, Mark Jackson, was let go following last season and recently he said Stephen Curry is “his guy,” but not the MVP.
