More than any other team in recent memory, the Golden State Warriors really play for each other. The San Antonio Spurs used to always boast about being an organized team, and they were. But, for the most part, it was still Tim Duncan’s team, until Tony Parker’s 2007 run.
The Golden State Warriors, meanwhile, have been Stephen Curry’s team, as he’s won two MVPs with them. In the NBA Finals, he’s been integral to their three titles. But, the Finals MVP has been Andre Iguodala and Kevin Durant, twice.
Coming into this series, sports critics said Stephen Curry would, for sure, win Finals MVP, this season. All of that changed, in Game 3, when it was Kevin Durant shouldering the team. Despite Curry playing big, in Game 4, he won Finals MVP, and people are trying to make something out of the below video, but KD shut all of that talk down, as did Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
