A few years ago, Steve Aoki burst through and had the hip hop world paying attention to him. During that time, he began working with popular rapper, Waka Flocka Flame, on music. The EDM star would then include several hip hop artists on his album.

Steve Aoki has definitely put in tons of work and worked across genres for some time. He has another album he is pushing and the future of the whole EDM is resting on it. Since 2014, EDM has increasingly faded from the mainstream of music.

Recently, Steve Aoki stopped by “Sway In The Morning,” where he would talk to Sway about his music. He talked about the current state of the EDM music scene and plans to preserve his body after death. Then, Steve Aoki shared stories about Mase and T-Pain.
