Following the Golden State Warriors’ game one win against the Portland Trail Blazers, Andrew Bogut was complimenting his team. He said Draymond Green is the best all-around player in the NBA. This is something Green humbly didn’t say, himself, but did accept.
Draymond Green took it upon himself to claim the Warriors’ historic record of 73-9, speaking it into existence. But, his positive energy was not enough to stop Steph Curry from getting bitten by the injury bug. In his absence, the Warriors dropped a playoff game.
Because of this, Steve Kerr did not give Draymond Green as high of a compliment as Bogut offered. Definitely giving Draymond Green his props, the second time in two seasons Coach of the Year said he is not a “superstar” yet. Green has responded by cutting down his turnovers to play more efficiently.
