Since the dawn of internet networking, there have been warnings about meeting people online. Long before the “catfish” term was prominent, people were getting messed up off the internet. But, advances in social media have led to a decline in such crimes, due to more visibility.
However, it still isn’t full-proof, as there are no in-person meetings. This ended up being the defining problem for @KashMoneyKanee and @__iamqueenk. Neither one of them was what the other expected, but no hearts were broken.
Instead, they shared their drama for the entire internet to see. The two got into a massive social media argument, where @KashMoneyKanee speaks on flying her out, because she looks good, and sleeping with her, before she tells him she has no place to go, while @__iamqueenk would detail him being a jerk and having a nasty home. Twitter sided with her, naming her #StrandedBae.
