School is hard enough and it used to be a concern about students being bullied. Now, there are teachers going to work afraid for their safety. Even teachers of small children are becoming victims of assault at the hands of students. But what took place in this video was a very disturbing thing to watch. A student did everything she could to provoke her teacher. Despite this, the teacher remained calm, but the student still beat her.
There is a lot of pressure on students, especially high school students. First, there is the peer pressure to fit in with the others. So, there are some children who will go out of their way to create trouble where the teacher is concerned. Also, there is also the pressure of children who are right before transitioning into adulthood. Aside from that, there’s the hormones and emotional issues that go along with just growing up. None of that justifies physical violence.
Being a teacher is a difficult enough job, simply due to the admin side of it. Many teachers go out of pocket to complete everything they have planned for their students. As a result, most teachers don’t take disrespect lightly. One teacher was facing off with a female student, who used bad words in the teacher’s face. After that, the student tried to put hands on her. When that happened, the teacher blocked her hand.
The student couldn’t bait her into a fight, so she began pounding her on her head, dragging her by the hair, to the ground.
