This weekend, Pharrell Williams’ Something In The Water festival returned to his hometown of Virginia Beach, VA. This has been taking place from April 28-30, as the lineup has included stars such as Pharrell, Calvin Harris, Summer Walker, Moneybagg Yo, Usher, Pusha T, Tyler, The Creator, T.I., Chloe x Halle, and much more.

Summer Walker performed on Saturday night of SITW, and brought out a special guest during her set. This is breakout St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red, who has been buzzing since February. This is due to her “Poundtown” single, which she went on to perform at Something In The Water. During Red’s performance, Summer was also seen twerking to it.

In November 2022, Red began to go viral, as she was featured on Summer’s “Sense Dat God Gave You” record. There, Summer had fun by experimenting with rap flows, as Red assisted a verse on there, as well.

Fans will have even more opportunities to catch Sexyy Red perform, this summer. Among them will be at the Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash festival in June and Rolling Loud Miami in July.
