Today, Summer Walker said that she had a big announcement coming for her fans, as it is the 2-year anniversary of her debut studio album, “Over It,” which was the number two album in the US. Walker went on to say that it’d be announced tomorrow instead, supposedly due to the social media outages.
Now, the R&B star has broke her announcement, since Facebook and Instagram are back working. She just posted a promo video for the album, which features her speaking to City Girls rapper, JT. There, it confirmed that this second album will be out on November 5, as hinted on Sunday.
This forthcoming album will also be titled “Still Over It.” This is definitely a sequel to the 2019 album, as in the promo video, Walker also sported her outfit from the original Over It album cover.
The Over It album in 2019 is regarded as a classic debut album, as it contained hits such as “Girls Need Love” remix ft. Drake, “Come Thru” ft. Usher, “Stretch You Out” ft. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Body. Many believe that with the anticipation for Still Over It, it could be Walker’s first number one project.
