Summer Walker says she’s working on new EP
Summer Walker recently trended online, due to not being nominated for any Grammys, for 2023. This is shockingly another year where the R&B star didn’t receive any nominations at all, despite being one of the best R&B artists in the industry. But, Summer is only nominated this year, due to appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” album.
However, Summer did make it known that she is being snubbed. Despite this, she thanked fans for supporting the way they have, even with the “math not mathing,” with her still not getting any Grammy nominations.
Even with Summer still not being Grammy-nominated, new music is still on the way. In the Instagram stories for her @glctawhre Instagram feed, she revealed on Tuesday, that she has a new EP on the way.
“Now that I know these award shows gone play me [regardless] ima go back to making the soul music I love. EP coming soon.”
As of now, the official title for this upcoming EP by Summer has yet to be revealed. The release date is also still to be determined. Summer’s last project came in November 2021, which was her chart-topping sophomore album “Still Over It.” She is also in the final stages of her second pregnancy, as she and her boyfriend, Larry aka LVRD Pharoh, recently split.
