Summer Walker adds vocals to SZA’s 2020 “Hit Different” single
On Christmas Day, Summer Walker released a new song, in celebration of the holiday. This was “Drown In My Love,” which wa sa short record, but the R&B star still delivered amazing vocals.
Meanwhile, Summer is also sharing a verse that she recorded, which is over SZA’s 2020 “Hit Different” single, which also initially featured Ty Dolla $ign. It’s unclear on whether or not that Summer will appear on an official remix to this, but she definitely delivered here, as well. The last time that Summer and SZA collaborated, SZA was featured on Summer’s “No Love” song, from the “Still Over It” album.
In 2023, Summer Walker has been very consistent, overall. In May, she put out her “Clear 2: Soft Life” EP, which contained 10 new songs, as well as collaborations with J. Cole and Childish Gambino. That project was initially announced when Summer performed at J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC. Furthermore, in October, she also went on to put out three remixes of her 2018 breakout “Girls Need Love” single, to celebrate its 5-year anniversary, as well s her debut “Last Day Of Summer” project. The remixes each featured, Tyla, Victoria Monét, and Tink.
