Summer Walker’s “Clear 2: Soft Life” debuts at number 26 in US

Over a week ago, Summer Walker delivered her first project since 2021, which is her “Clear 2: Soft Life” EP. Nine new songs were released, including collaborations with J. Cole and Childish Gambino. Summer initially announced Clear 2 while performing at J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC, last month.

Meanwhile, Summer is now seeing a solid debut for Clear 2. According to Chart Data, it now has a number 26 debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. 24,000 units were sold over the past week. The highest charting song from the album on the Billboard Hot 100 is “To Summer, From Cole (Audio Hug),” which was the intro for Clear 2. Cole shouted out Summer throughout that record on being one of the best in R&B, as well as congratulating her on the twins she welcomes into the world, earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Summer is also set to perform in her hometown of Atlanta again, on June 1. This is at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, as she will be accompanied by a live orchestra. Summer initially announced this concert, exactly a week ago.
