Summer Walker has been one of the best R&B artists out ever since her hit single “Girls Need Love” took off in the fall in 2018 along with her “Last Day of Summer” EP. She later put out the Girls Need Love remix with Drake to start 2019 and the only way was up from there.

The Atlanta singer released her highly anticipated debut album, “Over It,” last fall and it met the expectations of fans on social media. Other hits on this album included “Come Thru” featuring Usher, “Stretch You Out” feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and “I’ll Kill You” feat Jhene Aiko. She also ventured on her “Over It” which had its ups and downs due to many cancellations which occurred as a result of her social anxiety that she sadly struggles with.

Over It continues to win big though as it has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This is after the project officially moved 1 million units. Walker commented on this huge accolade by saying on Twitter “Thanks so much y’all #Overit is PLATINUM.”
