Summer Walker’s “Still Over It,” on Pace To Become Her First Number One Album, and Highest Charting Female R&B Album, Since Beyoncé’s “Lemonade”

Yesterday, Summer Walker released her highly anticipated sophomore album, ”Still Over It.” This project was led by the single, “Ex For a Reason,” ft. JT, of the City Girls.
Still Over It went on to contain 20 tracks, with features from SZA, Ari Lennox, Omarion, Lil Durk, and more. Narrations were also included, from Cardi B, and Ciara. Now, the R&B star is heading for a huge first week, in sales.
According to Chart Data, Still Over It is expected to be Walker’s first number one album, on the Billboard 200 chart. 185,000-210,000 units are the projection. In 2019, Summer’s debut album, “Over It,” sold close to 134k, in its first week.
If Still Over It is at number one, this would also be the highest female charting R&B album, since Beyoncé’s “Lemonade,” in 2016. Over It debuted at number two, in October 2019.
Many already view Still Over It as another classic album, by Walker. Fans also love the emotions that she poured into many of her songs on this project, which discuss her breakup from her baby daddy and multi-platinum produced, London On Da Track.
