#SupportNickCannon: Fans on Twitter create hashtag in support of Nick Cannon, blasting ViacomCBS for removing him over his comments about white people, racism, and Hebrews, with threats to boycott VH1, MTV, and BET
Since he was a child, Nick Cannon has worked with Viacom, currently known as ViacomCBS. His career with the company began with him being a Nickelodeon host. Later, he created “Wild ‘N Out,” with MTV, before he returned to take the helm at Nickelodeon.
Nick Cannon, in recent years, has focused in on “Wild ‘N Out,” which was transferred to the VH1 network. With his huge platform, Nick Cannon has gone back to do some solo projects. Among them is his “Cannon’s Class” podcast.
Recently, Nick Cannon had Professor Griff on “Cannon’s Class,” where they spoke of the race relations. Calling the historic actions of white people “evil,” Nick also said black people are the real Hebrews. Within hours, ViacomCBS terminated Nick, and Black Twitter has #SupportNickCannon circulating, as people are speaking up for Cannon, threatening to boycott VH1, BET, and MTV.
