Over the weekend, Nipsey Hussle made headlines, but not for positive reasons. The emerging “New West” rapper intended to perform in Temple, Arizona. However, a shooting took place at the venue, preventing him from taking the stage. Upon leaving the stop, moving on to the next show, Nipsey Hussle discussed the issue on Twitter.

The shooting at Nipsey Hussle’s show was a bit overshadowed when a similar story took place on the other side of the country. In Nashville, Tennessee, a fight at the club led to gunfire on the road. However, this situation involved Young Buck, famous for his days as a part of G-Unit, thus making the story bigger.

Yesterday, the spotlight was back on the Arizona shooting, though. One suspect, Raynon Jones, was arrested for the crime. Jones reportedly opened fire following an argument, outside of the venue. The situation took place minutes before Nipsey Hussle was supposed to take the stage.

With fifteen people being shot, Raynon Jones is facing thirteen counts of aggravated assault and one count of assisting a criminal street gang. Law enforcement is currently searching for two other suspects, who got away on foot.
