Swae Lee climbs out of elevator after being stuck for five hours
Swae Lee rose to fame, nine years ago, as one half of Rae Sremmurd. Alongside his brother, Slim Jxmmi, Swae Lee put on during the 2013-2014 period. During the summer of 2014, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi dropped “No Flex Zone” to much success. Together, as Rae Sremmurd, they were the flagship artist of Mike WiLL’s EarDrummers label.
Swae Lee would enjoy the highs of Rae Sremmurd. By 2016, it became clear that Rae Sremmurd was hitting its peak. As a result, Swae Lee began pursuing solo music. During the summer of 2017, French Montana featured Swae Lee on his single, “Unforgettable.” The song became the biggest hits of their respective careers.
Swae Lee has continued pushing himself as a solo artist. However, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi reunited for a Rae Sremmurd triple album in 2018. With Sremm Life 3, Rae Sremmurd dropped their hit single, “Powerglide,” with Juicy J, to much success. The “Powerglide” single sampled Three 6 Mafia’s classic single, “Side to Side.” After that, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi went back to solo projects. Recently, Swae Lee was with his crew and they got stuck in an elevator. Swae Lee and his guys spent five hours in the elevator. Eventually, Swae Lee climbed out.
