The Super Bowl matchup is officially set after the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs locked in their spots from their respective conferences yesterday. The big game will take place on February 2 in Miami as Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will headline the halftime show.
Demi Lovato will be singing the national anthem prior to the SB starting. In 2018, she dealt with huge scare as she suffered from a drug overdose but has since been taking great care of herself. One artist in particular wants to sing the national anthem next year in Tampa Bay and that is Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee.
Lee caught up with TMZ and revealed that he’d like to have that opportunity. He sung a few lines from the anthem on the spot to make his pitch for the performance as well. Lee continues to be one of the most popular artists in the industry as a solo artist as well. This also comes after his now ex-girlfriend, Marliesia Ortiz, busted his car windows and offered a $20,000 bounty on his head.
