Swizz Beatz and Timbaland talk Verzuz growth, Triller partnership, and new battles on “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

The pandemic is responsible for a lot of things. Among the better things are the Verzuz battles, beginning when a bored Swizz Beatz and Timbaland decided to go hit-for-hit. This led to many other artists wanting to be involved.

It wasn’t long before Verzuz was really a thing. There were many celebrities getting involved and Verzuz is now a part of the culture. Partnered with Apple Music, Verzuz saw Jeezy and Gucci Mane end their longstanding beef.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland recently formed a partnership with Triller, for Verzuz. The two called into “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. They talked about the growth of Verzuz, Triller, and the upcoming battles.
