Tonight, VH1’s “Hip Hop Honors” were a big win, as far as fans on social media were concerned. One of the top moments was the Kandi and Tiny performance over TLC’s “No Scrubs.” Surprisingly, a lot of people didn’t know they wrote the song.

There were some who argued that TLC could have been invited to perform the song, themselves. After all, T-Boz is on a strong run, promoting A Sick Life, her newest book. Meanwhile, Chilli is always doing it big.

Following the “Hip Hop Honors,” SWV’s Lelee Lyons had choice words about the show. It is hard to overlook the contributions of SWV, when thinking on 1990s hip hop/R&B. Soon, T-Boz chimed in, agreeing with her commentary.
