SZA and Simone Biles show off gymnastics skills
Two veterans of different talents link up for an unexpected workout session. R&B sensation SZA and gymnastics superstar Simone Biles recently teamed up to show off their gymnastic talents. In a new two-minute video, released as part of NBC’s coverage leading up to the Paris Olympics SZA shows off her talents for Simone. Practicing everything from handstands to backflips, the moment is captivating fans everywhere.
SZA’s influence hit another major milestone throughout 2024. She dominated this year’s Grammy Awards with nine nominations and three wins for her album SOS. That album included several number one singles including “Snooze”, “Kill Bill”, “I Hate You”, and “Good Days”. Adding to her Billboard streak, she released the single “Saturn” in June, with a new album on the way.
This pleasant encounter took place at Simone’s family-owned World Champions Centre training facility in Spring, Texas. As they stretched, Simone inquired about SZA’s transition from gymnastics to music. SZA responded stating “when it was clear to me that I wasn’t going to be a national gymnast, I was like ok, let me see what else I can do..”. Simone who holds more medals than any other gymnast in history praised SZA for her skills.
