SZA announces on “Saturday Night Live,” that her “S.O.S.” album will be released on December 9

SZA announces December 9 release date for “S.O.S.” album

On Saturday night, SZA was the musical performer for the December 3 edition of “Saturday Night Live.” Keke Palmer was also the host, where she trended due to announcing her first pregnancy. The actress also flashed a huge smile, while showing off her baby bump.

SZA also appeared in SNL skits, while also performing her new “Shirt” single. In addition to these skits and performance, SZA dropped some huge news of her own. This is that she’s finally releasing her sophomore album, “S.O.S.,” on December 9.

SZA had initially been teasing S.O.S.’s release, by posting a photo of what appeared to be album artwork. This was posted to her social media feeds, earlier this week. Many assumed that this was S.O.S.’s official cover art, as fans immediately wanted the release date.

S.O.S. will also serve as SZA’s first project, since the summer of 2017. At that time, she broke out with her debut studio album, “Ctrl.” That was led by hits such as “The Weekend,” “Love Galore” featuring Travis Scott, and Drew Barrymore. Ctrl went on to debut at number three in the US.
