SZA Denies Rumor, That She’s Releasing Her New Album, on November 5; Says She Wouldn’t Put Out an Album on Same Day as Summer Walker, as She’s Featured on Walker’s Upcoming Album

On Sunday night, rumors surfaced that SZA’s sophomore album, would be out on November 5. A fan posted an alleged album cover, an “Alt” title, along with that November 5 release date. At the time, SZA had yet to confirm or deny this.

Monday finally saw SZA speak on this rumor, on Twitter. She denied that this forthcoming album is coming in November. SZA emphasized that she wouldn’t put out her album on the same day as Summer Walker, as she is featured on Walker’s album.

Earlier this year, Walker & SZA posted photos together, in the studio. This confirmed that they have a record on the way, as fans now know that it’ll appear on Walker’s “Still Over It” album, in November 5.

Fans have anxiously been waiting for SZA’s second album, as it’s been over four years since “Ctrl,” was released. That project is still highly regarded as an R&B classic.
