Music has changed, overall, not just hip hop, or R&B, or even country and rock. Every genre has had some kind of blending into other genres, with mainstream pop beginning to resemble 1990s R&b. That’s just it, as people get older, things change.
SZA is adapting to these changes and becoming the new female face of R&B. Desperately, female R&B needs some new faces, which is no discredit to Beyonce. But, all of the other ladies who had potential to be her peers can now be found on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.”
But, SZA is doing a very good job, right now, as “Love Galore,” featuring Travis Scott, continues being a radio hit. Outside of that, the single is certified platinum. As for the CTRL album, it has now been certified gold.
