SZA, Latto, GloRilla and more win at 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards

SZA, Latto, GloRilla and more win at iHeartRadio Music Awards

On Monday night, the annual iHeartRadio Music Awards took place in Los Angeles. The event was held inside of the Dolby Theatre, as the legendary Lenny Kravitz served as the host.

Many of the biggest artists in the industry were honored at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, including in hip-hop and R&B. In the Best New Hip-Hop Artist category, a tie was given. As a result, both Latto and GloRilla won this award. This comes after both rappers have released major records over the past year and a half, such as “Big Energy” by Latto and “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” and “Tomorrow 2” featuring Cardi B, by GloRilla.

In the Best Hip-Hop Artist selection, Drake scored that win, as many anticipated. He was even included in the Hip-Hop Song Of The Year, as he’s featured in Future’s “Wait For U,” which also has featured.

For the Best R&B Artist category, SZA took that home. This was expected by many, due to the massive success of her new sophomore album, “SOS.” That was released in December, and became her first number one album, after debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. That project is led by hits such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” “Shirt,” and “Kill Bill.” SZA also wrapped up her month-long “SOS” North American Tour, last week, in Los Angeles.
