In a new interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, SZA shares how she lets fans sleep over her house from time to time. She went on to explain her difficulty fitting in as a child and the importance of belonging.
SZA is having an incredible run in music. Last year her second studio album S.O.S hit streaming services, taking over social media. With leading singles like “Kill Bill,” “Good Days,” “Shirt” and “Snooze”, it’s no surprise the album is now platinum. According to Chart Data, S.O.S also broke the record for most weeks at number one in the Top R&B Albums chart history. This year she’s already collaborated with Drake, Travis Scott, Justin Bieber and Sexyy Red.
Although SZA is now a mega superstar, fans are devoted to her kind heart and free spirit. During her interview she stated “They’re my family and they’re my people,” when describing her fans. She also stated “Yes, we can smoke together, you can come backstage. You can come to my house if you want.’ Hella fans have spent the night with me and been to my house many times..”. SZA is currently finishing out the rest of the S.O.S tour, which ends October 29th.
