SZA has had massive success lately with the release of her “Good Days” single back on Christmas Day. This recorded ended up soaring to the top of streaming apps such as Apple Music and Spotify. This came after SZA succeeded heavily with her “Hit Different” single feat. Ty Dolla $ign in the fall.
This morning, SZA also appeared on “CBS This Morning” as she discussed her work in environmentalism as well as upcoming new music. She revealed that she was locked in the studio all night and then went straight to this interview.
SZA also added that new music is on the way for sure. Fans have been into a new song that’s been floating around on TikTok which may be titled “Shirt” but she’s not sure if that will be the official title.
“Shirt’ is super easy to remember, and now every time I’m working on it in the studio, I reference it as ‘Shirt.’ Now this song that I wasn’t even 100% sure [would get] placement on my album has centered itself on my album, and I rushed to get it out and ready.”
The wait is also on for SZA’s sophomore album. With the release of these last two singles and possibly “Shirt,” this project may be a reality soon.
