Over a week ago, SZA reached platinum status with her “Good Days” single, which was released on Christmas. Now, another platinum plaque by the RIAA is on the way for the R&B star.

Back in September, SZA also put out her “Hit Different” single featuring Ty Dolla $ign. This record earned high praise from fans along with the music video for it. Today, it reached the platinum mark after selling 1 million units in the US, according to Chart Data.

Hit Different went on to peak at No. No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As of now, it has also accumulated over 59 million views on YouTube. This was SZA’s second single of 2020, following the “The Other Side” collaboration with Justin Timberlake.

SZA also recently revealed on CBS This Morning that she’s been working on even more music as it appears that her sophomore album is on the way. Both “Good Days” and “Hit Different” are expected to appear on this project. It’s been almost four years since her debut studio album, “Ctrl,” was released so the hype is very much real for this forthcoming project.
