SZA shares “part 1” of music video to “I Hate U” single, which Includes Lakeith Stanfield [VIDEO]

SZA has had another massive record on her hands, for the past month. This is the singer’s “I Hate U” single which was originally on Soundcloud for a while. Fans soon wanted SZA to put it on streaming outlets, and when that was done, it soared on the charts.

I Hate U went on to debut at number six, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This week, it also surpassed 500,000 units sold, and id eligible for an RIAA gold certification.

Now, SZA is previewing the highly anticipated music video, for “I Hate U.” She has taken to her Instagram feed, to show visuals for it, where it displays actor Lakeith Stanfield. Stanfield has been a fan-favorite in the TV and film industry over the last five years, as he’s appeared in “Atlanta,” “Get Out,” “Judas and The Black Messiah,” and more.

Fans also hope that in the middle of SZA’s success with “I Hate U,” her sophomore album will finally be released in 2022, as well. Her last project was her 2017 debut studio album, “Ctrl.”
