SZA’s “I Hate U” goes gold, and “Good Days” reaches 3x platinum
Over a month ago, SZA released her highly anticipated “I Hate U” single, on all streaming platforms. This was initially released on Soundcloud before, but high demand turned it into a single.
This month, SZA went on to put out part one of the music video, for I Hate U. This starred actor, Lakeith Stanfield. This immediately had fans ecstatic, as they’re looking forward to the rest of the visuals.
Now, SZA has reached another huge milestone, for this single. According to Chart Data, I Hate U is now certified gold, in the US. This is after selling over 500,000 units.
I Hate U also went on to debut at number six, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is SZA’s highest-charting solo single, to date.
On Thursday, SZA’s “Good Days” single, also hit 3x platinum. This is after selling over 3 million units. This record was initially released on Christmas Day, in 2020.
