SZA’s “SOS” Tour grossed over $34.5 million
In late February, SZA ventured on her first tour, since 2017. That was her “SOS” North American Tour, which lasted for over a month. It initially kicked off in Columbus, OH, and concluded with two shows in Los Angeles. There were various guest performances as well, including Lil Baby and Summer Walker, during SZA’s stop in Atlanta. Omar Apollo served as the main guest performer, for the entirety of the tour.
According to Billboard, SZA did massive numbers with her SOS Tour. She reportedly grossed over $34.5 million, over the course of that month. 238,000 total ticket were also sold.
As a result, SZA reportedly earned $1.9 million per night, as well as and 12,812 tickets for each one. New York City and the Inglewood area of Los Angeles are also the top earning cities for the SOS Tour. In the two shows in NYC, SZA totaled $4.7 million and 27,000 tickets, at Madison Square Garden. In Inglewood’s Kia Forum, she earned $3.9 million, with 25,000 tickets sold.
SZA’s SOS Tour came after releasing her first album since 2017, in December. This was “SOS,” which was her sophomore album. It became her first number one album, and spent its first seven weeks at that top position. In total, SOS spent 10 weeks at number one. This project is led by hits such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” “Shirt,” and “Kill Bill.” Kill Bill is also aiming for the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, next week.
