SZA has been on fire over the past two months, with her new sophomore album, “SOS.” It initially debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. This project went to spend it’s first seven weeks at number one.
SOS’s number one streak was snapped after seven, but it’s back on its way to another impressive run. According to Chart Data, it’s on pace to return to number one in the US this week, as this would also be its third straight week at number one, for a second time, since it’s release.
SOS is reportedly projected to sell an additional 88,000 units, this week. Pink’s new “Trustfall” album is on track to finish second, with 68,000 units. SOS would also become the longest running number one album by a female artist since Adele’s “25.”
SOS was led by hit singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” “Nobody Gets Me” and “Kill Bill have since been the latest singles. Kill Bill has since reached 2x platinum status in the US, and currently stands at number two in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
