SZA’s new sophomore album “SOS” has been very dominant, over the past two months. It initially debuted at number one in the US on the Billboard 200 chart, following its December 9 release. That also became SZA’s first number one album.

SOS went on to spent seven straight weeks at number one in the US. That streak briefly stopped for one week, but it has since remained on top again. As a result, it is also now heading for a second straight week at number one again, as well as nine total weeks at number one.

According to Chart Data, SOS is on pace to sell an additional 97,000 units this week. It would also break the record for longest running number one female album of the 2020s. The album has already since reached platinum eligibility in the US, as well. This project is headlined by hits such as “Shirt,” “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Kill Bill.” This week, Kill Bill also returned to the number two spot, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
