SZA’s “SOS” on pace for fifth straight week at number one in US
SZA has been taking over the charts over the pest month, with her new sophomore album, “SOS.” This was released on December 9, and went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Since then, SOS has remained at number one, for four consecutive weeks.
However, SZA’s momentum with SOS isn’t slowing down anytime soon. According to Chart Data, it’s on pace for a fifth straight week at number one. The album is projected to sell another 120,000 units, this week.
SOS is led by hit singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” and “Shirt.” 23 songs were available on the album, as it initially debuted 20 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. “Kill Bill” and “Nobody Gets Me” have since been listed as the next two singles off of SOS. SZA also collaborated with Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers and Ol’ Dirty Bastard, on the album.
SZA initially announced the December 9 release date for SOS, during her early December appearance on “Saturday Night Live.” She performed on the legendary late night show, and also appeared in multiple skits.
