SZA’s “SOS” album is number one in US for third straight week
SZA has been dominating all month long, with her new “SOS” project. The long-awaited sophomore album initially debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. 318,000 units were sold in the first week, and also did an impressive 180,000, in its second week.
Now, SOS continues to come out on top, as it remains at number one on the Billboard 200. According to Chart Data, it sold 123,000 units over the past week. Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” comes in at second.
SOS was led by singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” 23 songs were available, including collaborations with Travis Scott, Phoebe Bridgers, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. 20 out of the 23 songs also initially debuted on the Hot 100.
Plenty of more fan-favorites have also emerged, since the release of SOS. This includes “Kill Bill,” “Love Language,” “Low,” and more. SZA also previewed the visuals for the upcoming Kill Bill video, on Thursday.
SZA will also be venturing on her SOS North American Tour, starting on February 21 That opening night will be held in Columbus, OH, as the tour will run through March 22, with it concluding in Los Angeles.
