SZA’s “SOS” album returns to number one spot in US

SZA’s “SOS” returns to number one on Billboard 200 chart

]SZA’s new sophomore album “SOS” is currently one of the biggest projects in the world. It recently spent seven straight weeks at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. That came after its number one debut in December, and was the first number one album for SZA.

SOS’ streak ended a week ago, but has quickly returned to the number one spot, once again. According to Chart Data, this was done so, after selling 99,000 more units, over the past week. SOS is also now tied for being the longest-running female number one album, of the 2020s.

SOS was initially led by hit singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” 23 songs are on this project, as “Kill Bill” has since become another single, and has reached platinum eligibility in the US. The video also went viral, as it contained a cameo from Vivica A. Fox.

SZA will also be kicking off her “SOS” North American Tour, on February 21. That will begin in Columbus OH,  as 17 dates will be available. The tour will go on to conclude on March 22, in Los Angeles. This is SZA’s first tour since 2017, as that was also her last previous album release, which was her iconic “Ctrl” project.
