Two years ago, T.I. starred in his first-ever television program with his MTV series, “T.I.: Road to Redemption.” Through the show, fans had the chance to see a different side of T.I. Many had written him off as just another rapper. However, through the show people learned how T.I. was an acute businessman.

While T.I. was in prison, his then-girlfriend, Tiny, starred in BET’s “Tiny & Toya.” The show set records for BET. In 2010, T.I. was released from prison and his first major move was making Tiny his wife. He would also ask Tiny to leave her role with “Tiny & Toya.” Tiny ended her run on the reality show, which solely focused on Toya.

During the fall of 2010, T.I. was caught with drugs in Los Angeles and sent back to prison for a parole violation. Those who supported T.I. during his previous prison stint had seemingly given up on him after he went back to prison. Tiny was heavily criticized for giving up her role in “Tiny & Toya,” but things worked out in the long run.

T.I. promised the fans he would not let them down again and continued to make wise business moves. Towards the end of his prison sentence, T.I. announced his VH1 reality show. In the long-run, things worked out for both T.I. and Tiny, who is now back in the reality show realm. The new reality show is called “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” as it also features their children. “T.I. & Tiny” will premiere on VH1 on December 5 ay 9 pm.

The show follows T.I. as he regains his footing in the rap game, his family life, and in the business arena.
