Welcome to Atlanta, this is the season where the city truly comes to life, as the BET Hip Hop Awards are kicking off. While the show won’t air until next month, the filming for it is taking place this weekend. All of the stars are here to ensure this weekend will be memorable for all.
Kicking things off are the good people over at Streetz 94.5 FM, who held a mini concert last night. The headlining acts were T.I. and Young Thug, the stars of the “All About The Money” single from this summer. They kicked off the show, which also included other local stars, such as OJ Da Juiceman, Young Dro, Lil’ Scrappy, Que, and Pastor Troy.
All these celebrities invaded Opera and the night was not one the people in attendance will forget. The 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards is the headlining event, but all the events surrounding it are pretty fun, too. So, for everyone here in Atlanta, please enjoy the stay and be safe.
