Recently, Lady Gaga trekked to the United Kingdom, where she performed at the iTunes Music Festival. While she was in London, Lady Gaga premiered her highly-discussed single, “Jewels and Drugs.” The record was previously discussed by Too $hort and features appearances from Too $hort, Twista, and T.I.
By most accounts, T.I. is the biggest rapper out of those three listed. Because of this, he would have been the biggest draw in the United Kingdom. However, needing T.I. to be in the United Kingdom is a much different conversation than him actually being granted entry into the country.
Lady Gaga went forward with debuting her song, but T.I. had to rap his verse via video for the fans. It was definitely a major setback for T.I., still nothing he cannot overcome, seeing how he overcame everything else. T.I. was blocked from entering the UK and the reason has not been revealed.
