Initially rising to fame as a Southern “thug” rapper, T.I. began speaking on political topics in 2004. At the time, T.I. thought he lost his right to vote, due to his felon past. However, he learned he could get reinstated and vote, during the 2008 campaign.

Along with Jay Z and many others, T.I. campaigned for Obama, helping make him the first black president. While the Obama campaigns were magical and inspiring, not everyone was impressed. Longtime fight promoter and Republican, Don King, is one of them.

The Donald Trump campaign has become one of the most racially-divided campaigns in recent history. However, Don King both endorsed him and also used the “N-word” while introducing him in a church. Breaking news when it happened, T.I. went on an epic Instagram rant, going at the legendary promoter.
