T.I. searches for $75 million record deal

T.I.Much of the theme of T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head album was new beginnings, but the album, itself, marked an ending. Ten years ago, T.I. signed a deal with Atlantic Records that would expire in 2013. Surviving the ancient Mayans’ predictions, the world moved into 2013 with ease, which means T.I. is a free agent.

During his time with Atlantic Records, T.I. has dropped consistent hits. Things were once going so well for T.I. that he was considered for the title of Atlantic Records’ president. But, his legal woes stopped this from happening, leaving him only heading Grand Hustle and his other businesses.

Delivering a strong comeback in 2012, T.I. is a hot commodity, once again. T.I. feels he is hot enough for a bigger deal, according to TMZ. The gossip site has reported that T.I. will be searching for a record label that will give him $75 million to sign him and his business interests. According to rumors, T.I. has already met with Dr. Dre for Interscope Records and he has met with Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
