T.I. speaks with “The Morning Riot” about Azealia Banks, “Trouble Man,” and his legacy

Over the past seven months, T.I. has been subtly running the rap game. There has been a lot of discussion about Rick Ross and Maybach Music, it is easy to overlook T.I. has a couple of collaborations with the MMG empire. Iggy Azalea has risen to become one of 2012’s most-popular artists, she works directly with T.I.

The Australian femcee, Iggy Azalea has gained much criticism to go along with her rapidly-growing fan fare. Harlem femcee, Azealia Banks has been the leader of the pack, accusing Iggy of capitalizing off her name, though spelled differently. In recent weeks, Banks has backed away from the disses, focusing on her music.

When “The Morning Riot” caught up with T.I., they asked him about the ongoing beef between the two femcees, which T.I. called “bitch shit.” Switching gears, T.I. also discussed his Trouble Man album, which was announced last fall, but given a 2012 release date. The album is currently set for release late in the summer of 2012. T.I. was also asked about his legacy, as he has had years of success, even through the legal troubles.
