Taco Bell manager killed by homeless employee he let live with him
More kindness is need in this world, but kindness can get taken for weakness. In the case of a Detroit area man, it cost him his life. Louis Stafford was the manager of a Taco Bell in the Detroit metropolitan area. However, he was not the typical boss. Stafford began noticing one of his employees wearing wet clothes. As a result, Stafford asked the man what was wrong. The employee revealed he was homeless, which led to Stafford moving him into his home. After that, the employee killed Stafford.
Those close to Louis Stafford say that he was an all around good guy. At only 27-years-old, Stafford proved to be a leader with business acumen. After all, Stafford was the manager of the Taco Bell location, which sadly led to his demise. Stafford was a compassionate man, which is the reason he even asked his employee what was going on. Once Stafford realized the man was homeless, he offered the man the chance to live with him.
Louis Stafford was the manager of a Detroit area Taco Bell. While working there, he allowed his employee, Dejon Drake, to move in with him. Stafford questioned why Drake’s clothes were always wet and learned Drake was homeless. After that, Stafford moved Drake in. However, Drake’s behavior became increasingly hostile towards Stafford on the job, and at home, including towards co-workers. As a result, Stafford told Drake he had to move out. This led to a fight between Stafford and Drake, with Drake fatally shooting Stafford after losing the fight.
