Plenty of media coverage has gone to VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop,” which continues the trend of reality television fights. However, when rappers are added to the mix, it adds a much larger degree of violence with promises of payback. When season three of “Love & Hip Hop” began, Consequence and Joe Budden were immediately pit against each other by the media.
Consequence did several interviews where he talked about Joe Budden and how he considered “putting hands” on him. Those who saw the footage see Consequence eventually sided with this decision, but soon regretted it. Joe Budden was with Tahiry Jose when Consequence hit him and soon the Queens rapper had something heavy on his hands.
Tahiry Jose punched Consequence, which caused the rapper to run and Jen the Pen to threaten calling the cops. Thus far, Joe Budden and Consequence have been the only ones to talk about the fight. However, Tahiry Jose recently called into Hot 97 and talked to DJ Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg about punching Consequence.
